The Science of Superman

Here's a great article where physicists try to explain Superman's powers. In the original Superman comics, it's said that Krypton (where Supes is from) had much greater gravity, hence he was much stronger here on earth. They reference a real experiment where chickens were raised in a 2x gravity environment and came out much stronger than normal chickens. Kind of makes me wish I had been raised in a 2x gravity environment. Oh and if you haven't seen the movie yet, you should. It's good.
